When Frances first called and said she wanted us to come all the way to NY to do a TTD with her, we were very flattered. When she then said she wanted to go from Coney Island to Times Square, we got sooo excited about the shoot. This is our first TTD where the couple, Frances and James, were married quite some time ago.
At the start they seemed to be a little apprehensive as to exactly what John was going to ask them to do. As the day went on and they started settling into our antics; we kept getting larger and larger crowds wherever we went. From the moment we walked into Times Square, there must have been a good dozen camera shooting us and the couple at all times and much larger crowds formed wherever we stopped.
It was an adventurous day to say the least.

In honor of Twilight the movie premiering today, I have put together a series of inspirations that are utterly vampire chic. If you haven't heard of Twilight, it's the teenage vampire book series by Stephenie Meyer that has become an obsession at the WV. I have put together some things that were inspired by the books, and also happened to be utterly gorgeous.

I loved so many of the creative portraits that we did at Caroline and Dave’s wedding!! Caroline & Dave wanted a lot of artistic portraits, and they had some awesome locations to work with, so we pretty much rocked it out!! While I'm at it, I'll throw in a few standard portraits as well just to show you that I do take them when requested. Let's start with the traditional and end with funky..
A touch of Chicago skyline…

I’m excited to announce the latest member of the Weddingbee blog family: a group blog by top wedding vendors!
Weddingbee PRO is a group blog about weddings, just like Weddingbee. But this blog will have real wedding *vendors*, blogging about weddings from the vendor side of the aisle. It’s the first group blog of its kind, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Can you believe it’s been almost three years since we first launched Weddingbee in February 2006?! The vision for Weddingbee has been the same since its start: a group blog with real brides blogging about their weddings.
We often thought about expanding Weddingbee to include vendors. A number of wedding vendors approached us about blogging for Weddingbee itself, but we always said no. We just felt it was best to keep bride and vendor blogging separate, especially as Weddingbee was just getting established.
But now that Weddingbee is firmly established as a site for brides, we got to thinking. Vendors have so much expertise and inspiration to share, as well as some of the most gorgeous blogs out there. We thought that maybe it was time to start a new blog with blog posts by weddding vendors. And so was born WeddingbeePRO.com!
Now you’ll be able to read the the same sort of behind-the-scene insights that you’ve come to expect from our Weddingbee Bees… but from our Vendor Pros! Also, of course, they’ll all be blogging lots of pro pics and videos as well.
Who are our PROS?
We like to think that our first group of PROS include some of the most talented, innovative, up and coming wedding vendors in the industry today.
We’re starting with seven vendors we know and love:
You may recognize some these names from the weddings of our Bees!
And Anne Ruthman and Chelsea Petaja are just all around awesome!
If you’re interested in applying to be a PRO, please go here for more information — we’re looking for more awesome bloggers to join our team! And if you'd like to add a Weddingbee PRO button to your site, please go here for the html!
