A recent poll we conducted revealed that brides best identified with “Modern Love” as their preferred wedding style. It's hardly surprising since “Modern Love” blends fresh, clean lines with simple, meaningful concepts that are accented with a romantic and feminine touch. Add to that a contemporary color palette and you've got a striking balance that works.
Our feature wedding comes to us by way of the capable and ingenious Gloria Wong of Sash and Sugar. I often babble avidly about Sash and Sugar's originality, which is quite deserved. For our client's end of summer wedding, S&S fused modern details with romantic floral elements in all the collateral including those enchanting fans and sublime place cards. The lilac, stone, bamboo, espresso hues were subtle, inconspicuous and blended with the voguish interior of the Sofitel's hotel ballroom. Flowers tended to be on the mod side focusing on dramatic blooms like the ever elegant and delectable moth orchid known as Phalenopsis and the delicate Dendrobium. Images from the accomplished Kevin Chin captured the ultramodern feel of this summery wedding.

I love the river stone placecards. The napkin wraps make a nice touch on the table too!
