Bora Bora Box Invitation

December 8th, 2008 @ 1:06 pm by Wiley Valentine

This bride was so much fun to work with. She knew she wanted something completely different and unforgettable. We started with cloth covered folders that held her save the date and a map of Bora bora. For her invitations we then made custom boxes with their name stamped on them. Inside we created a sandscape full of fresh flowers and seashells. The invitation was a scroll, rolled up, tied with raffia and topped with a shell. These invitations were then hand delivered to each guest. They definitely made an impression and set the tone for the wedding!

Those invitations are beautiful! I love the box of flowers & shells. I’m having a beach wedding and already picked my invitations. I have to admit, I’m a little jealous of these! :)

I love the blind stamping on the fabric. I’m diy-ing my invitations and I wonder if there is an way for me to do this or a similar technique.
