Patrick Moreau, Toronto Vendor: Cinematographer Website: Still Motion About Me: For far too long, wedding videography has been seen as a medium with debatable value and little artistic merit. I think a wedding film should be fun, quirky, romantic, and really reflect two people and their coming together. It should grab you in the first few seconds, shake you throughout, and leave you with a lingering impression. I am 1/3 of the cinematography team at StillMotion, along with Michael and Konrad. With a background in psychology and no formal training in film + video, I've been completely self taught and look to use my background to add more meaning to our films and the experience of creating them. I hope our art can inspire you like our brides inspire us.
About patrick

We are so fortunate to be surrounded day in and day out with so much positive energy, so much anticipation and excitement, and so much love and caring. It is rather ironic, and gratifyingly so, to put together a demo with a song about no more happy endings.

Weddings can be somewhat of uncertain events with so many details to plan and not enough time to go around. As it all starts to come together and the big day approaches, the stress level often rises and we wonder if everything will come together the way it has been dreamed about for years (well at least for the brides…) I view this piece as being very inspirational- a celebration of so many happy endings.

When we set out to create this compilation of our work this past summer, we really weren't sure what to expect. What we ended up with was much more than we could have imagined.

Welcome to StillMotion!

Well done! You should be so proud of yourselves for capturing precious moments! It is so nice to see a group of people- combining the best elements: art, movement, emotion and music. Good job!

Stunning as always. Every one of your videos is like watching a 2 minute movie. By the way, will you start listing the songs you’re using? I always love the songs in your videos.

I love love love Still Motion!!!!! I always tell people that there’s nothing I would change about my wedding except for the videographer! Although my videographer was super nice, the video is the only thing that will ACTUALLY capture that day as how it was. All their videos made me weepy.

I am a self confessed wedding photography blog-stalker. And that’s how I happened to come across your blog one day.

And. Oh. My. Dear. God. Nothing has been the same since. I didn’t know I wanted a videographer until I saw what you do!!!

I’m originally from Toronto and I live in the BC Rockies now. The boy and I are hoping to get married in 2010 somewhere in Latin America (I would love to have a wedding in Antigua Guatemala). When the time comes for setting dates you can expect to hear from me. Whether it be coverage abroad, or flying to Toronto for a TTD session, I would love to have you be a part of my wedding.

I remain truly in awe,

Karen
