Leigh Miller, Coronado, CA Vendor: Photographer Website: Leigh Miller Photography About Me: People often ask me how I got my start in wedding photography. The truth is i fell into it. Almost by accident. But after my first wedding I was sold. I moved full force ahead. And within a year I went full-time leaving behind my life as a therapist and social worker. And the rest, as they say, is history. In November I celebrated my 3rd year of being a full-time photographer! Today, I feel so blessed to get to do something I love and to work with amazing couples all over the country and world! I have traveled to the Bahamas, Jamaica, all over Mexico and all the way to England to shoot weddings. I live in southern California with my husband, two sons, two really loud birds and a short, fat yellow lab named Mrs. Jones. All, at various times, make an appearance on my blog.
About leighmiller

As an interior designer Lindsay has such great style, I had been anxiously waiting to see what the wedding would be like. Needless to say, it was elegant and classic. Lindsay and Hank’s wedding was at Casa Del Mar in Cabo San Lucas. It was a gorgeous day and this group was so fun (wait ’til you get to the bottom of this post!). This wedding was totally about friends (with a wedding party of about 23!), family and celebrating. Just what I think a wedding should be about. Lindsay looked amazing in her vintage gown and Hank was dashing as well. So without further delay, here is a great big preview of their wedding day. Congrats again guys! Thanks for having me!

Thank you to Katie Thompson of Weddings in Paradise for referring Lindsay and Hank to me and for doing such a fabulous job! And an additional great big thanks to my good friend and awesome photographer Riccis Valladares for shooting with me! I think we have a few more weddings left this year. Can’t wait! I wonder… who’s going to be buying the sushi???

BTW, a few of the bridesmaids were wearing the most gorgeous jewelry made by Judi McCormick. If you’re looking for custom jewelry for your wedding party you should check her out. I’m always excited when I find good things (wow, I sound like Martha Stewart!).

It’s like buttah. ;-) It’s quite amazing how I can still tell the difference between film and digital… neither is better, it just has that film-like quality. Love them Leigh!!

I love the style of this wedding. And the photographer captured it perfectly : ) That one wide angle shot of the bride coming down is one of the best shots EVER!

If I closed my eyes and imagined what a beach wedding should look like, this would be it. I can’t believe the colors of that sky!

I am recently engaged, and while dress shopping, I saw Lindsay’s gown in The Knot magazine. I am obsessed with it!! Any clue who the designer is or where it came from??
