we average out to about a normal sized person… That's what Audrey told me when I met David for the first time. He's tall, she's short, but they both are fun and we had a blast doing their engagement photos around downtown San Diego. See you guys SOON I can't wait for the wedding!

Cute! Along a similar line, are there tricks for when a couple is similar in height and you want to give the illusion that the guy is taller (w/o the girl sitting down or obviously slouching, etc)?
@renaissancetrophywife: great question and i would love to address that in a post. i think i will. ive had a number of weddings with height differences. but the main thing im always trying to do is capture who the couple is. with these two they are fun and funny and totally loved playing up their differences. i will be back to talk more about this! thank you for the idea and for your kind comment.
@Z: thank you! yes i will come back and talk more about this. in short (no pun intended - haha!) i say if youve got the tom and katie thing going on…own it!!! i love to wear heels that make me as tall or a little taller than my hubby. makes me feel sassy.

About Me: People often ask me how I got my start in wedding photography. The truth is i fell into it. Almost by accident. But after my first wedding I was sold. I moved full force ahead. And within a year I went full-time leaving behind my life as a therapist and social worker. And the rest, as they say, is history.
