I don't even know where to start with a post about Colleen and Jimmy's wedding. I had been looking forward to their wedding for over a year, since shooting their engagement photos at Coney Island last August after they won the engagement photo contest giveaway of 2007. If you go back and read those two posts I think you will see why they hold a special place in my heart. I felt like I knew them so well already and of course had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy's family last summer. Over the past year Colleen and I had exchanged many, many emails about the wedding planning, the gown, the flowers, etc… To see it all come together was awesome.
And the wedding day was a blast. Fun. Funny at times (I could do an entire post on the limo ride over to the ceremony itself!). Emotional. Joyful. A few tears. A little bit of nervousness. Lots of friends and family, tons of hugs and kisses. Thank you both again for letting me be a part of your wedding. You both deserve only the best. Enjoy!

About Me: People often ask me how I got my start in wedding photography. The truth is i fell into it. Almost by accident. But after my first wedding I was sold. I moved full force ahead. And within a year I went full-time leaving behind my life as a therapist and social worker. And the rest, as they say, is history. In November I celebrated my 3rd year of being a full-time photographer! Today, I feel so blessed to get to do something I love and to work with amazing couples all over the country and world! I have traveled to the Bahamas, Jamaica, all over Mexico and all the way to England to shoot weddings.
