Flush Designs, Pasadena Vendor: Invitations, Event & Floral Design, Photography Website: Flush Designs About Me: Flush Designs is run and owned by me, Courtney C. Keefe de Jauregui. It is all encompassing, from the custom & handmade invitations seen at my website, to full exploration in event styling and design, to flower arranging, to playing sidekick and second shooter to my husband's wedding photography. I am working on becoming a wedding "One stop shop". :) I am a graduate in fine art painting, but a self taught graphic designer. As I still needed to get my hands dirty, I started taking letterpress classes, thus becoming my new love. When I am not busy working (usually still in my pajamas) and telling myself to remember to buy a new chair (this one hurts), I am singing to my 3 cats and enjoying a cold pint with my husband at our favorite local Irish pub. Maybe it's in the reverse order. :)

Olive Branch Invite

December 30th, 2008 @ 5:24 pm by Courtney @ Flush Designs

I recently finished this invite for a couple in London getting married in Nigeria. 400 invitations and Directions card. Whew! I am tired! :) The colors are a chartreuse/lime green and a plum purple. Looks gorgeous!!

I made a really quick arrangement for the photos — I first had it in the white globe vase, but changed it to one of many chair springs, in which I use for all things candles, flowers and wall art. Thought the chair spring looked more “old world” for this invite…

I’m curious … how did you create the graphic for the invitations? I’m going for a similar kind of feel for my invitations, but all my attempts at drawing my artwork in Illustrator look too cutesy.

I love the fonts that the names are written in. Do you have a name for it? Would love to use it on my own invitations.

@KCD - Scriptina is the name of the font used. I was going to use the same font for my invitations but decided against it last minute. It’s a nice font though.

Those look great, the flower arrangement is so beautiful with those deep colors.
