Leigh Miller, Coronado, CA Vendor: Photographer Website: Leigh Miller Photography About Me: People often ask me how I got my start in wedding photography. The truth is i fell into it. Almost by accident. But after my first wedding I was sold. I moved full force ahead. And within a year I went full-time leaving behind my life as a therapist and social worker. And the rest, as they say, is history. In November I celebrated my 3rd year of being a full-time photographer! Today, I feel so blessed to get to do something I love and to work with amazing couples all over the country and world! I have traveled to the Bahamas, Jamaica, all over Mexico and all the way to England to shoot weddings. I live in southern California with my husband, two sons, two really loud birds and a short, fat yellow lab named Mrs. Jones. All, at various times, make an appearance on my blog.
About leighmiller

I’ve been gone for a bit but hopefully not forgotten. ;) I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a great new years.  I’ve been traveling ALL around since New Year’s Day visiting family in Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Mississippi. It’s been fun but I think I’m going to need a vacation from my vacation when I return home next week if you know what I mean!

I’m cooking up lots of new blog posts to share but in the meantime I thought I would share an older engagement session but still one of my favorites, Kristen and Chad. I was so excited to shoot this engagement and wedding.  Chad himself is a photographer and you might think Kristen would be used to the camera, but she was probably the shyest person I’ve ever photographed. It’s kind of ironic considering how beautiful Kristen is. I told her if I looked like her I would want someone to take my photo everyday - haha! Anyway we had a blast and I love the way Kristen and Chad are together and the way her shyness translated in the photographs. I wouldn’t have had it any other way!

Leigh these are awesome! You really captured their personalities and relationship. I love that first picture and how the interesting setting of where the couch is! Was this in downtown San Diego?

I’m so drawn to shoots in urban city settings. This one is edgy but the couple is so very sweet! I love these!

These pictures are amazing! Kristen is so beautiful, and her shyness makes these shots that much more endearing. I love the one of them kissing in the middle of the street! It’s like the whole world is moving around them, and time stopped just for them. tahanks for sharing!
