About punambean

Film.

Part One
Part Two

I TOTALLY forgot that I shot all this film, as Andy and Ashley and I frolicked the wilds of CA. And so, here it is. I rented a Contax 645 and shot Fuji Pro 400H, with some old advice from Jose Villa, and some new ideas from the lovely Micheal and Anna Costa. And thus, I wielded a real film camera for the first time. Having really no idea what I was doing, I loaded the film backwards and shot the whole roll, twice. And then for a while I really had no idea how to get the darn stuff in the camera. But once the mighty Contax agreed with me, we were fast friends. We are currently entertaining the idea of an ongoing and intimate relationship. Husbone understands.

Truly amazing. The fact that you can create such beautiful images on your first try with film is incredible - definitely a testament to your talent! They are absolutely stunning!

Punam you BLOW MY MIND. You are obviously so talented and yet you are really casual about it, like “Hey, no big deal, I just picked up a film camera for the first time and shot these editorial worthy photographs.” These are phenomenal.
