I wanted to check in and share a peek at Lori Beth's flower bouquets.

So we have dark teal (really Tealness, an Alfred Angelo color), dark red, silver, and dark plummy purple.

There are actually four bouquets in this order, plus boutonniers and corsages—about four times the flowers you see here in this post!

I finished it all today, but I would rather photograph it in the sunlight outside tomorrow!

… Moving right along to Siobhan's black and white wedding that I'm just starting.

Today, we went out to lunch with one of our friends to Paradise Bakery and Cafe, which is right next to Omaha's FIRST Anthropologie that opened here late last year!!! I sat facing the big glass windows so I could see all the little worker bees inside, folding clothes, setting up mannequins, constructing shelves and wall displays, stacking teacups.
If I was looking for work, that's where I'd be going.
Does anyone else just fantasize about being a window dresser????
I could work a few hours a week just doing that, right?
Right.
Anyway, Siobhan's black and white flowers.
After lunch, I just sat on the couch downstairs (unusual for me to go outside of my craft room during the day) and cut and sorted and arranged and sewed until it was time for school.
Someone caught the bug and did some very cool, decorative embroidery. (See if you can guess which ones he embellished!)

Then when I got home it was right back to work.

So there's a peek.
More tomorrow.
