Beautiful shots. This week I’ve been struggling with my D80 and a macro lens to try and get some good ring shots… We need more light!
Anyway, I had a question for you guys, if you don’t mind. I’ve been wondering what things (that are within our control) can a couple do to maximize the good shots? What are the qualities that you see that make you say, “I know this couple will have great photos”? Are there commonalities, or is it just all kismet?
@doctorgirl: Doctorgirl, I think that if we feel a connection with our client and the client sees a value in what we do then this can make up for half of the “goodness” of a shoot. The rest is up to us to concentrate on lighting, posing, and creativity with use to our camera. Hope this helps.

These are all amazing! I’m not sure if I can pick a favorite. Although I do have to say the sprinkles one just makes me happy. Then I love the contrast of the 6 different backgrounds in #7. And the olives just look cool. Basically I think they are all awesome!
