The Whole Truth is that this furniture is beat up/broken/unwanted clunky metal office junk left over from a now-defunct property care company. The Pretty-Sounding Version of the Truth is that I have access to a treasure trove of vintage industrial office furniture for the redesign of my home office.
Tighten some screws. Grease some bearings. Soak it down with Method mint all-purpose cleaner and finish with a few coats of pistachio green spray paint.
It's going to be super industrial.
The inside of the desks are really dark, pretty wood.
Securing the fixtures and furniture is phase one of my huge office redesign project… here is the color palette I'm working with.
I have these retro-looking round purple chairs, and the walls are silver and red. Painting the desk pistachio and having some pink and brown accents should pull it all together really beautifully.
I work a lot, but it's been a while since I did any home improvement, so this is exciting.
