When I’m sixty years old, I’ll be able to look back at the blog and remember how I spent all my Saturdays in the year. How many people can say that! There’s so much that happens behind the scenes that I don’t want to forget.
Behind the scenes: while the guys were getting ready at Brendan’s parents place, I remember running into a ladder that led into a huge hole in the ceiling. The air conditioning guys were up there working, of all days! Yes, I took pictures of them of course, but they weren’t pretty enough to post on the blog. I also remember sitting down with Elizabeth’s uncles and eating like five bagels with cream cheese and homemade preserves. I definitely didn’t feel a lack of energy that day.
I used to work with Brendan and Elizabeth at Cal when we were doing software training. It was something special to be able to come this far with them in their journey together and to have met their families. So much to say about this wedding, but I’ll keep it short. It was a beautiful day.
Our fellow blog stalker and friend, Bethany, has cracked the whip on us about vendor details, so here we go!
Elizabeth was a superstar bride. She did her little sister’s hair!
Out in the backyard I found their little shanty with a real red wagon. Love the rustic feel.
Ingrid snagged some great limo shots!
I love this sequence. The boy in the back is definitely observing it all.

I love this! Part of me wouldn’t mind having a separate, intimate ceremony like this with just our mothers.
Not only is it double the party, but double the FABULOUS pictures as well!
