Swelling with Pride

Not a lot of people know that I am part of a dynamic duo. My husband, Kevin Chin, is my silent partner which means he rarely gives me floral suggestions but in return when I need an extra hand, I know that I can count on him. Many people might not know that Kevin is an extremely talented and our in-house photographer. Kevin's work is far more extensive than my own and he is often recognized in the Bay Area because he has over 17 years experience as a premiere wedding photographer. One of the main founders of The Short List SF, member of WIPA, and contributor to Susie Coelho's wedding book, Style Your Dream Wedding, Kevin has been a wonderful partner on countless magazine editorials and industry projects.

I am so proud that Kevin recently updated his website, www.kevinchin.com. You've got to take a look. It's remarkably fresh. What makes me so proud is that Kevin is dedicated to the lost art of film photography. In a world of instant gratification, it's wonderful to see that someone is still embracing the beauty of film - protecting its future at all costs.

I can tell that this is not the first time at all that you write about the topic. Why have you decided to touch it again?

What topic are you referring to? Do you mean writing about my husband? Yes, I frequently do write about him. It’s fun having a partner who loves their craft. He is still a film photographer!!!

Thanks so much for comment.
