One of the coolest things in the world is when someone would get on a plane to let me take pictures of them. I mean, I know I live in NYC, and there's a lot of stuff to do, and one can make a nice little weekend out of a small trip. But for those couples I haven't had the pleasure of meeting when we decide to work together, it's really a neat thing to say “nice to meet you let's take some pictures”.

Enter Sherene and Peter. I had only spoke to Sherene on the phone before, but immediately I felt a connection, and instant comfortableness — it was the kind of thing where we were talking like friends on the phone, instantly. And it was no different when we met! Sherene and Peter are a wonderful couple and were kind enough to share with me this amazing love that they have for each other. I just watched them watch each other, and I was so filled with emotion that I couldn't help but smile at them. I really had such a wonderful day with the two. Thanks so much for sharing with me, guys!

Sherene and Peter stayed for a night at the Hudson Hotel, which I had never been before. People! This place is awesome and gorgeous! I really, really wanted to shoot some photos of them in the bar there — the whole floor of the bar is a light box — and the decor is unreal! They wouldn't allow it because it was closed. Someone, please get married here and hire me as your photographer! I would be one happy photographer!!!
