About Laura Nadeau @ Lo and Co

Lo loves Trish!

April 2nd, 2009 @ 9:36 am by Laura Nadeau @ Lo and Co

After finishing my previous post Under Eye Dilemma, Linda asked me to recommend a blush color for her. Well, it is pretty impossible for me to give a short answer (especially after too much caffeine), so I decided to do another post on the wonders of Trish McEvoy products!

TM is a little pricier, but is perfect for the minimalist who loves everything in one place, and is a must have if you travel a lot. I love her eye shadows, blush, powder, and her No. 9. Blackberry & Vanilla fragrance and creams.

Trish2Trish

I recommended the following products for Linda:

Blushes

Easy Going (along the cheekbone) and Natural (apple of the cheek)

Eye Shadows

For all over eye - White Peach

Highlight color - Glamorous gold

Medium Colors - Deep Olive, Sable Bronze, Gilded Bronze, Bronze Patina

Eyeliners

Ebony or Rich Brown Definer

Go Trish! (maybe she will take my calls now!)

How lucky to get a two part post! Thanks for these suggestions, so now I’m wondering you said you can have all the products in the same place…does that mean you can have it put in that lovely little black case from above or is it because it’s all from the same company? Sorry…I’m a little slow this morning!

And if we did buy her products, how do you go about doing that?

@Lillindy: That’s alright darling, it really isn’t that clear! TM calls their palettes, Pages and they come in a variety of sizes. You can have multiple pages that fit in a binder bag thingee. The Page is magnetic and you just slap the products on and arrange them however you like. I really suggest going to a department store where you can touch, feel, and try all of their stuff. Almost all of their products fit into the pages. If you are not near a store, let me know and I will help you order them online if you are really into that. I’m a total Trish convert! I love her entire line and love the whole ‘planner’ concept. It’s made keeping my makeup organized and accessible SO easy. (Okay - I promise I’m not employed by Trish McEvoy =) Although I wish I was as the discount would be helpful!) I went about 10 years ago for a makeup lesson with a Trish artist and haven’t turned back!

I should add that the fabulous Laura was my makeup artist for my wedding and I was extra-excited when she whipped out her Trish eyeshadows at my trial! I’ve also started using some of Laura’s other suggestions (Paula Dorf eye base and Nars Orgasm multiple stick)! Keep the advice coming Lo! (and I’ll be back to have my makeup done soon…a couple of big events coming up this summer! not that I really need an excuse =)
