Interview Icon

April 8th, 2009 @ 11:34 pm by Mrs. Bee @ Weddingbee PRO

We’re going to be starting an interview series with all kind of vendors in the wedding world, and we need a snazzy new icon for it!  Do you have any recommendations?

Also what are you dying to know about wedding vendors?  We’ll incorporate some of your questions into their interviews! :)

@honeymyheart: That’s a great question. I’d love to know how they got started. Also, when and how they decided to quit their previous jobs or make career changes, since many vendors don’t start out in the wedding industry.

This a cool new idea Bee! Looking forward to this series.

I love to see a bee in a suit with a microphone. And as an interview q&a: I’d love to know their #1 budget saving tip or the one detail they think is worth it to DIY!

I LOVE this idea! I think a bee with a microphone would be cute too! Or a bee with a notebook.

Is this why you were asking on the boards who peoples favorite photographers are? I hope so! I’d love to see more vendors from across the country interviewed on the blog!

I think a bee with a suit and microphone would be so cute. And little glasses! :)

This is such a great idea. I’d love to learn about what advice they have for brides, common mistakes they see, their favorite event to date, where do they go for ideas and inspiration and who their dream team is to work with when it comes to other vendors.

I like the idea of a Bee w/ a microphone :)
I can’t find it right now, but there was a question on the boards a couple days ago about how and when you should let a vendor know you went with someone else. I think that would be a good question to be address on WeddingbeePro… probably not for this particular thing, but I thought I throw it out there :)

An interview chair. I always see interviews with the fancy chairs…just a thought. I also like the microphone idea.

If you don’t go with a bee with a microphone, maybe a bee with a pen and notepad, like the is a journalist.

I’d be curious to know how much time during the week they actually put into their business. Usually business owners work well past 40 hours a week.

Maybe a “Vend”ing machine….hardy-har-har. I’ve got nothing, but the feature sounds awesome! Looking forward to it!

I do like the idea of a bee in a business suit or a bee with a microphone.
