Things that make you say “awww”. I write a lot about ideas for the ladies -the bride, bridesmaids, flower girl, and sometimes we forget about the men who are part of the big day too. Especially the little men!
Ring bearers are like the hype man for the bride, the Flava Flav to Chuck D. The congregation turns to watch the little guy have his big moment, and excitement begins to build for the entrance of the bride.
It can be a little bit tricky to find gifts for boys, so I picked out some of my favorites that I think would appeal to the traditional ring bearer (ages 3-8). Of course, many of them would make fun gifts for any occasion and would work for flower girls, too!

I have to credit my five-year-old nephew Alex with the idea for this gift. His mother is a physician’s assistant and he loves to look through her medical books and memorize the names of body parts. The Human Brain Coloring Book is a great gift because it is very technical yet the coloring book aspect makes it fun for curious kids like Alex.

Geodes are hollow rocks with crystal formations in the center. Intact geodes are a great gift for kids to smash open and see the crystals inside!
