So, usually after the future bride and I exchange some thoughts and I look over details, I start sketching. This is the fun part; where I go crazy with the marker. Then, I have to edit it down to 2 sketches to send over to the bride, so she can choose the one she likes.
Here are two pillow ideas for Miss Popcorn's vintage amusement park wedding. I love the whole concept behind this celebration. The stationary, favors, games, decorations and the reception in the bumper car pavilion tie it all together.
Both pillows include a carousel pavilion and a ferris wheel. The carousel pavilion at Glen Echo Park is very, very beautiful, and during my research, I ran into tons of photographs that people have taken while visiting the park. The pillows will also have little party flags; this comes at the request of Miss Popcorn, who will be making pennants to decorate nearly 300 feet of ceiling surface. Unique touches like that is what makes your wedding that much more special, and your guests will treasure it.

The color palette has three primaries: blue, red and yellow. The pillow ground will be the light blue/grey that you see on the top of the color chart above, and the party flags will be a mix of all colors. I envision the pavilion in taupe, sand, blue and the foamy accent color combination with beads and sequins for some sparkle. The ferris wheel will be in yellow, the sky trolley in red, and the flowers in all primary colors with avocado green leaves.

I definitely want to go visit next time I'm in the DC area.
Miss Popcorn has already made her choice, but which one would you choose?
