Kristin Brancaleone, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA Vendor: Floral Designer Website: The Treasured Petal About Me: The Treasured Petal is a reflection of my love for scrumptious flowers, yummy textures, colors, ribbons, and all the other girly splurges that being a florist allows me to enjoy on a daily basis. Although I don't discriminate when it comes to flowers, my two favorites would have to be cattleya orchids and gloriosa lilies, which I carried in a ginormous bouquet on my wedding day. When I'm not crafting wedding florals and consulting with brides, I am usually at the dog park with my dogs Pesto and Basil, cooking healthy vegan dinners, watching Seinfeld with my husband Joe, at Bible study, or scouring craigslist for antique furniture to fill up my new house. I am also kind of a home-body and really love sipping tea in my pajamas while working my way down my google reader blog list!
About thetreasuredpetal

Annaliza and my husband Joe reunited via Facebook (I'm still holding out). They were in high school band together, during those strange teenage years, when Joe rocked a ponytail way longer than mine. As they caught up online, Joe told her that his wife (moi) owns a floral studio and that she should check out T-Petal for her upcoming wedding. Turns out, she had already stumbled upon my website online and was already planning on contacting me! Another coincidence- she had already booked my fabulous wedding photographer and good friend, Trista Lerit, to shoot her wedding at one of my favorite venues, Falkner Winery in Temecula. Needless to say, I've been anticipating this wedding for many months.

Their color scheme was ultra dramatic -rich shades of burgundy, wine and deep purple, contrasting with shots of chartreuse and fuchsia. The look was abundant, overgrown, wild and moody. We wanted guests to feel like they were at a lavish destination wedding far away in Italy.

Here is a sneak peek of the photos, courtesy of Trista Lerit. Not only is Trista an absolute delight to work with, but she takes the most striking, unique and colorful images. I knew she would capture all the love, joy and energy perfectly.

The sheer fabric on the arch was billowing oh-so beautifully in the wind. The ceremony spot at Falkner is just breathtaking. You stare out onto rolling hills of grapevines and other wineries in the distance.

I love Annaliza's megawatt smile! She looks so happy and a little bashful in the picture.

Cory's face is so gleeful as he gazes into Annaliza's eyes.

A perfect kiss shot. Love the sweeping train and the angles of the trees in the background.

From left to right: Sweet chair accents, a huge manzanita tree for the escort card table, a close up of the tree (those fuchsia zebra striped roses are called Pink Intuition), and at bottom, a wine box overflowing with florals for the sweethearts.

I spent months stopping by different BevMo's asking if they could spare any wooden wine crates. Sometimes, if I asked nicely, they'd give them to me for free! We filled the crates with hurricane candles and a lush mixture of florals.

I'll end with this heart warming photo.

Thank you Annaliza and Cory for always treating me like a good friend. I hope we can double date soon since you live so close! You can give me all the hilarious details from Joe's high school years. ;) Have a spectacular life together!
