Saturday's wedding was another beautiful, joy-filled celebration. I'm excited to share a little sneak peek with you all.

The event took place at the elegant Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. The property has a lovely garden setting for the ceremony and one of the most well-appointed, neutral ballrooms you will find in Southern California. I can't tell you how many times I've gone into a luxury hotel ballroom only to find a hideously patterned bright blue or hunter green carpet. Bleh!!

The Four Seasons Beverly Hills has a ballroom done up in elegant shades of champagne and blush, with lovely light fixtures and a very inoffensive carpet. Beyond all of that, the food is phenomenal and the service top-notch. I had the most fabulous experience working with Pete Alles, the catering manager. He is absolutely one of my favorite venue coordinators ever. Pete was always upbeat, resourceful, helpful and fun! He took excellent care of my couple and the vendors. If you're looking for an amazing spot for your wedding, I highly recommend the Four Seasons!!

After our decadent lunch (thanks again, Pete!), we put some finishing touches on the set-up and got ready for a flawless event!

The ceremony was done up in pure creams, whites and blush tones. Florals by the ever-fabulous Kate Baker.

I love the stunning orchid display the hotel has in the ballroom foyer -dramatic and timeless. Phalaenopsis orchids are a fave of mine.

Escort card table and a sweet manzanita branch arrangement. It's one of Kate's signature pieces, and I think she does some of the best manzanita work out there.

One of the tall centerpieces (pardon our mess in the background; we were still setting up ). I spy lots of black magic and fuchsia roses, antique hydrangea and lime and pink cymbidium orchids.

The cake was made in-house by the Four Seasons pastry chef. Delish!

Nancy's hair and makeup was by one of my favorite vendors ever, Sherry Mcanelly of On Location Beauty. Her work is flawless every time.

Aren't they perfect together?! The first words Anna said to me after meeting Nancy were, “Ohmygosh she is soooo beautiful!” I couldn't agree more!

I love these striking b&w shots of the ceremony. Nancy's dad was such a sweetheart, and his toast at the reception brought tears to my eyes.

A peek into the stunning ballroom…

Left: grand entrance! Right: the couple during a dinner game. I made these fun signs that said “him,” “her” and “me!” Their DJ, the wonderful Brady of PropsFX, asked them various questions and asked them to reveal their answers to the crowd. Questions included things like, “Who's the better dancer?” and “Who sometimes forgets to brush their teeth?” It was absolutely hilarious and a total crowd-pleaser.

There will be much more to come in a month or so, when I receive some teasers from the official photographer, Josef Isayo.

I had a wonderful week, filled with meetings, mockups and projects galore. I also have this Saturday off before 3 weddings in a row. I'm looking forward to a little R&R before Monday. Definitely on my to-do list: In-n-Out, the new Star Trek movie (unashamed nerd here!) and my first massage of the wedding season (a little bit of pampering goes a looong way!).
