I had so much fun at the Modern Bride Trendsetter Awards dinner last night!  The fantabulous Preston Bailey presented my award.  Christian of Project Runway, Bethanny from The Real Housewives of New York, Kristin Davis from Sex and the City, and more were in attendance.  And there were so many rockstar vendors in the wedding world that I finally got a chance to meet.  More details to come!

The majority of you liked Dress #1, so that’s what I ended up wearing!  Ai Sakai did my hair and makeup — I have to say that I loved my makeup, but I was completely and utterly in love with my hair! Thanks so much for transforming me Ai!

I gave Ai a general direction, and she came up with a loose bun to the side, a braid along the other side, and some loose waves framing my face.  These images were taken at the end of the night when I came home, so the hairstyle held up all night!

The braid is something that I never would have thought of — I think it kept the look very fresh! 

I have many pictures and stories to share soon, but my laptop (that’s only about 7 months old!) completely died on me this weekend, and Photoshop is on that laptop!  I’m trying to navigate iPhoto now, which I’m completely unfamiliar with, so please bear with me a bit while I try to edit and upload some pictures.
