My bride, Nanie, is getting married here in California in the fall, but she's doing a special photo shoot and ceremony in Paris, France prior to her wedding. Having spent time in Paris, it was especially important for Nanie to include Paris as part of her wedding experience, so our bride and her groom are off to Paris this weekend for a private ceremony (just them two and their photographer, which is my husband Kevin! Darn is he lucky!
).
Originally, I was going to go along for the ride but we booked several weddings, and now I'm far too busy during Memorial Day to jet off to Paris! Sadness.
So, what does a floral designer do about the flowers? Already this year, we sent Laura, our intern, her bouquet to Idaho Falls! I thought, 'Should I send Nanie's bouquet to her?' At first I suggested that she find a local shop, but since she will be recovering from jet lag, here's the next best thing.

To make this bridal bouquet from silk flowers you will need:
7 - 8 stems of large blooms of silk white peonies
7 - 8 stems of tight, closed silk white peonies
5 -7 stems of white closed silk roses
1 bunch of faux green foliage
5 stems of textural fluffy white silk flowers like lisianthus or azaleas or Peruvian lilies.
1 bolt of top quality satin ribbon
Pearl pins
Floral tape
Binding Tape
