I have been noticing the use of chalkboard in weddings lately, and I have to say I really love it. It's such a clever element to add to a wedding and perfect for the DIY bride! Menus, seating charts…so many fun options!

I saw a lot of people buying old frames or mirrors on ebay and then painting them with chalkboard paint!
We got ours at a yard sale. In Seattle there’s also a school supply clearing house with lots of salvage boards from schools (ours is an old school chalkboard). We’re going to go and see if we can find another to match.
The chalkboard wordsearch looks ace! I think that’s a wonderfully novel touch to any wedding.
I had seen a chalkboard in a wedding planned by Jung Lee and I loved it. I’m still trying to figure out if we can incorporate in our wedding without it looking completely out of place.
