children at weddings kids table

If you're having children at your wedding, you might want to consider a designated kids' table, complete with babysitter. (Read this if you're considering not having children at your wedding).

It doesn't have to cost a bundle to keep the little ones entertained. Some ideas include:

  • Play Doh
  • Bubbles
  • Crayons and coloring pages
  • Simple (non-messy) crafts
  • Beading
  • Make a monster or robot
  • There's also the option of having a DVD player with a kids movie, complete with popcorn.

Here are a few photos to inspire you:

As a nanny I was surprised to learn that play-do is in fact, not, a mess-less craft. The little crumbs get all over kids, furniture, and ground into the carpet (also the little ones eat it). Every time I let my kids play with it I feel like I’m vacuuming half the house to get it all up! (Don’t get me wrong it’s great fun but just be forewarned it’s not as mess-less as it appear!)
