The light was so nice in my studio this past week, especially around sunset. I am so happy summer is upon us. I love the blue light of winter, but this light suits me and my work so much better!

The Golding Jobber print press came from Maine to Rhode Island. She was missing a few pieces, but nothing that couldn’t be replaced or done without. I did not get much history from the previous owner, but it was in Portland before it moved to Biddeford, so it has been in Maine for awhile. I have to explore the press more but it does have “1898″ on the side. The press was located in an old textile mill {which Biddeford was famous for back in the day}.

I acquired the furniture cabinet from Letterpress Things. A great find that is helping me feel a bit more organized! The cut fabric print is by the Multi Polar Project from Little Paper Planes. The saying could not be more true, especially when I am turning the fly wheel for hours on end.

And finally, the voice that keeps me company into the wee hours of the night, Ira Glass. He watches over the studio, making sure all print jobs are done in three {sometimes four, occasionally two} acts. You can get your own felt wonder from Abbey.
