Rebecca Turnquist, who took all of these great photos, was gracious enough to send me a few of her favorite pictures from Alisa and Jack’s May 28th wedding. (Here is the post I made about Alisa’s flowers after I finished them!)

Alisa and Jack got married in upstate New York at the Apple Barn Farm. I love outdoor weddings. You can definitely gather things about the bride and groom’s personalities from the wedding they plan, and Alisa and Jack should feel so happy that they represented who they really are on their special day.

Alisa was also a blast to work with. I made a collar and leash for their golden retriever, Tiger, and corsage pins as gifts for all of the people who helped plan the wedding. Alisa sent me a packet in the mail of all the information I could possibly need–fabric swatches, photos, a copy of their save-the-date, an introduction to her and her family.
As a vendor, I am never there for the wedding, but I feel like I am valued and included when the bride offers me so much helpful material and information. And when I get to see the professional pictures, it’s easy to look at the bouquets I spent so many hours making with my hands and imagine that I was really there…
Congratulations Jack and Alisa!
