The wedding is going to be a formal and elegant affair with a reception in a Victorian era casino. Inspired by the casino, the bride knew exactly what she wanted - peonies with a vintage flourish. Pink and green are the wedding colors and complement the imagery so well. I must say I love the reception card. If I were a recipient, I would hang this up…right next to the invitation of course! 
I also wanted to share these peony rehearsal dinner invitations I printed. I worked with Brigitte, owner of Pulp | Art & Paper in Omaha to design these for one of her clients. Brigitte carries some of my stationery and the couple liked my limited edition peony cards, so Brigitte designed the layout of the text to work with my peony design, sent it over to me, I ordered the plates, and print, print, print…voilà! Pretty little invitations. Collaborations are so fun!

About Me: I am the designer & printer behind Parrott Design Studio, specializing in custom letterpress and screen printed wedding and event invitations, stationery, and paper goods. With a background in non-profit marketing & art history, I began the studio in 2006 in my small apartment in Providence, RI. Since then I have moved to a studio built my fiancé, acquired a Golding Jobber letterpress, & have been happily printing ever since. I grew up in Portland, Maine, and I have always had an affinity for the ocean, mountains, birds, gardening, & the simple life.
