If you’re like me, you’ll look at these photos, sigh longingly, and think “I wish I could have been there!” Heather and Kevin organized a destination wedding in Cabo, Mexico that was simple, elegant, and crafty all at once. I think Heather explained it best in her own words:

It was a small event considering Kevin and I both have small families, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. A destination wedding was definitely the way to go for us because the only thing we had to do was spend time with the people we love. It was a dream come true.

Everyone loved your flowers, and the wedding planner asked for your card. She had never seen anything like it.
Our reception was more like a craft class than a wedding. Instead of a traditional guest book, each guest created a scrapbook page for us. The centerpieces were scrapbooking supplies such as paper, markers, stickers, and glue sticks accented by your bouquets. There was also a Pogo at each end of the table (a small printer). Guests were asked to bring USB cords for their cameras and printed their own photos for the scrapbook. It was fun, entertaining, and now I have a fabulous keepsake unlike any other. The guests really got into it.

The reception was followed by fireworks set off on the very beach where we were married a few short hours earlier.
I want to go back!

I would want to go back too! I love seeing photos of my bouquets, but craft supplies at a wedding? The eyelet details on Heather’s short, breezy dress? The beautiful blue sky and sandy beaches? I’d say Heather and Kevin really did have a perfect day.
