I attend a fair number of wedding related events, but don’t always get around to blogging about all of them. Editing, resizing, and uploading pictures are actually what take up the most time, and not the actual writing of the post. But I’ve been very fortunate to have two wonderful summer interns who have been helping me catch up on the post front by editing and uploading my pictures for me!
I recently attended an intimate bridal show at the Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier - where I purchased my own wedding dress over 4 years ago. All the dresses were so intricate and gorgeous. I have developed such an appreciation for a well-made gown, having seen so many up close over the past couple of years.

My favorite baker Sylvia Weinstock was there with samples of her always scrumptious cake.

Michelle Rago gave each guest these beautiful African violets.

Ribbons were adorned with stationery from calligrapher and stationer Ellen Weldon… who I just found out is Sylvia’s daughter!

A shot of Michelle’s book, Signature Weddings, with Michelle in the background.

We’ve been approached to write a Weddingbee book a number of times over the years. It’s something I would have to think long and hard about because it would be a fair time investment. But it’s exciting and humbling to think that we may be book-worthy!

Wedding dress designer Angel Sanchez. I looove his ethereal dresses!

I’ve been running in Michelle everywhere I go recently. Can you tell she’s a blast to be around?

Everyone kept calling this the Michelle Obama coat. I can definitely envision her donning this striking ensemble!

I also popped into the Brooklyn Pop-up Chapel to witness the wedding of an adorable couple selected by Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine earlier this month.

All the streamers on the walls were purchased from an online discount store!
