As I still needed to get my hands dirty, I started taking letterpress classes, thus becoming my new love. When I am not busy working (usually still in my pajamas) and telling myself to remember to buy a new chair (this one hurts), I am singing to my 3 cats and enjoying a cold pint with my husband at our favorite local Irish pub. Maybe it's in the reverse order. :)

A Wine-Stained Wedding…{The Invitations}

Remember this save the date? Well, the invitation just went out, wine stains and all. :grin: This is a mixed media piece, the wine stain is digitally printed by me and then letterpress printed by Spark. I love the simplicity of the border but it is spiced up with the wine stain and some more silly wording on the reception card and the rsvp….

I am in love with these invites :) I guess it’s the wine lover in me, but I’m also a big fan of of whimsy mixed w/ fancy.

love lovE loVE lOVE LOVE!!! My fiance and I are just starting to think about invitations for our wine-themed wedding next October, and I can’t believe how perfect the wine stain design is! Is the wine stain a graphic file, or did you hand-design it?
