We came into the studio on Sunday, the day after Melinh and Cwell were married, and we sat down to watch their SDE again. Jess had come in for a couple hours that Sunday and it was her first chance to see their SDE. We are generally rather quiet when we share something like this, as we all get pulled into the story. At the end of the piece we looked up and Jess was completely silent, tears streaming down her face, as she started to laugh at just how much she was affected.
It makes me wonder how many others watch these pieces, knowing nothing of the couple, knowing very little about us as well, people whom we will probably never meet, and are completely moved by what they experience.
Thank you Melinh and Cwell for sharing your day with us, and in turn, letting us share it with so many others.

When a wedding video is beautifully put together there is no need to know the couple personally because you have brought us into their life on film just in a matter of a few minutes. I love that his vows open and end the video. Just beautiful.

About Me: For far too long, wedding videography has been seen as a medium with debatable value and little artistic merit. I think a wedding film should be fun, quirky, romantic, and really reflect two people and their coming together. It should grab you in the first few seconds, shake you throughout, and leave you with a lingering impression. I am 1/3 of the cinematography team at StillMotion, along with Michael and Konrad.
