Cynthia Converse, Syracuse, NY Vendor: Invitations Website: Bella Figura About Me: Bella Figura is a wind-powered, eco-friendly letterpress shop committed to the fine artisanship of letterpress printing and the environment. Along with our sister company, Smock, we print our wedding invitations and stationery on only the finest luxury cotton and bamboo papers to ensure the most beautiful of prints in sight and to the touch, while working tirelessly to do our little piece for the good of the earth. We are hopelessly in love with our abundant collection of cast iron presses, farmer's markets, fall in Upstate NY, creating beautiful heirlooms for our brides, businesses that do good for the world, calligraphy, spending time in nature, contributing to the greater letterpress community, our rambling studios in a converted warehouse turned artist's haven, and our two year old in residence. Turning invitations into art on paper while dedicating ourselves to the environment is not what we do, it's who we are.
About Cynthia @ Bella Figura

I just got back this morning from a trip to NYC where Smock hosted a fabulous event on Monday with our friends from Delphine, russell+hazel, Linnea’s Lights and Green Paper Company. We had a wonderful time meeting up with some of favorite shop owners, bloggers and editors in an incredible loft on Broadway, Hatch Creative Studio’s Nest Loft, and in true Monday Morning Mimosas fashion, enjoyed good cheer and a bit of bubbly with friends old and new. As I was flipping through the many many photos I took, I knew I had to share some of the event highlights. All of the exquisite details were dreamed up by the talented Erika of Delphine (no, she’s not an event planner, but she certainly has a fabulous eye) and could easily translate to wedding planning, a fabulous rehearsal dinner or even a festive bridal shower.

Erika’s grandmother, and Delphine’s namesake, was a fabulous hostess, showing up in her color-coordinated attire and serving up fresh mimosas. Delicious pastries, Paulette macarons, adorable striped straws, MMM-themed twizzle sticks, and bright tissue paper streamers were just a few of my favorite details. Even the flowers and the flavors of the macarons were hand-picked to blend perfectly.

And, of course, any good event features fabulous coasters and cocktail napkins and an ample supply of candy….

The loft was absolutely beautiful, but a few well-placed burst of color made it so much more fun…

And here’s a little look at all the pretty letterpress Smock brought along…

I’m in love with the way the clean white walls and dark wood floors of the loft took on an entirely different look and feel when paired with pops of orange, yellow and pink. Are you planning a fun and cheerful color scheme for your wedding?

What a fun event…I love all the bright colors. Were using blues and yellows but I dont think it will look this fun! But I want lemons in our centerpieces so those will be neat! :)

I love the look of the garlands hanging down. I have an event in September that I am going to be creating a similar look for, but with rainbow garlands. And those straws are adorable!
