The little bird makes its debut on a wedding invitation! This little bird has been by my side since the early days of my shop and I was so happy Christina, the bride, wanted them on her invitations. Actually, what first caught her eye was the thistle, which she plans to have in her bouquet. The thistle, as most flowers, has a few different symbolic meanings, my favorite being its symbol of enduring love that will last in spite of pain and suffering. Thistles are a bit prickly! Anyways…inspiration for the colors came from the wedding’s location - a marina in East Hampton -easy, breezy, and very chic. My favorite part of the entire suite is most certainly the little birds on the rsvp. They are so in love, no?

With a background in non-profit marketing & art history, I began the studio in 2006 in my small apartment in Providence, RI. Since then I have moved to a studio built my fiancé, acquired a Golding Jobber letterpress, & have been happily printing ever since. I grew up in Portland, Maine, and I have always had an affinity for the ocean, mountains, birds, gardening, & the simple life.
