Holy Cross sweethearts, Whitney and Brian, have been planning their wedding thousands of miles apart since graduating two years ago. Whitney was in London obtaining a master's degree, and Brian was in Japan serving in the US Navy. So their wedding day was a rare occasion to be together with all of their friends and family back in Whitney's hometown. In December, Brian and Whitney will be relocating- together- to Hawaii!

Meet Whitney, the face of calm under pressure.

Ok. Well, maybe the funny face of calm under pressure, too (she was demonstrating the expression she feels she makes in photos of herself all the time).

Nothing is off limits during the preparation hour, even tooth-brushing. I love the careful thought, and the shallow depth of field to an otherwise hectic bathroom.

Take a good look at the bridesmaid on the right, Michaela Clemence. You may recognize her as a contestant on the NBC reality tv show America's Toughest Jobs (currently airing Mondays at 9pm). As noted by her scar, Michaela actually broke her neck while filming!

Whitney and Brian were married on the 9th of August.

Whitney is just so amazingly expressive and it was so much fun to watch how much Brian adores her.

The reception was a beautiful backyard cerebration at Whitney's parents' house.

There were so many gorgeous flowers.

The highlight was most definitely the family's two yellow labs who meandered around the party.

Thank you so much for having us, Whitney and Brian! Wishing you both the happiest of lives together (and perhaps a few new friends who might need a photographer in Hawaii!).
