Recently I reached out to Chrissy from A Perfect Palette with a fun idea. She picks the palette, I create the invite. So Chrissy emailed several of her favorite inspiration boards from The Perfect Palette Blog (a must read if you don’t already) and I chose “Yellow Makes Me Happy” to inspire this week’s custom invitation creation.
I began with this gorgeous 100% recycled paper, hand-pressed with my lacy leaves pattern and added touches of sparkling amber shimmer ink here, there and everywhere. The blooms throughout were created with a few swirls of my brush for a spirited and whimsical look. I tore a bit of vintage fabric to fashion the gate-fold’s tie.
