Today, I got an email from Meg and Sara Jane, two of my favorite brides of all time, showing me some of their professional photos! You can see them on their photographer Sarah Maren's blog (and check out the rest of Sarah's work, it's gorgeous!).
When Sara Jane and Meg got engaged, same-sex marriage was legal in their home state of California. I admire them so much for going on with their wedding plans after the passage of Prop 8.
They were so EASY to work with, and FUN to work with, and if I was ever in the neighborhood I know that we would hang out and have an awesome day together. These chicks are the coolest. And look at their cute puppy!
I made some basic flowers for Sara Jane and Meg's hairpieces, and they DIY'd the netting themselves.
Meg and Sara Jane, I can't thank you two enough for giving me the opportunity to create your bouquets for you! And I really hope we stay in touch.
