As many of you probably know, Jesi Haack is one of my favorite wedding planners to work with… her designs, personality, and professionalism make her a fabulous find in the wedding industry! I was so excited when she and I were able to work together on Jessica’s wedding! I had the pleasure of getting to know Jessica previously at events at The White Dress in Corona Del Mar. Jessica is a manager there and has had us come and sample our yummy treats for their clients on various occasions. This is a special store for me since it is where I got my fabulous wedding dress a couple years ago. So as you can tell, I was doubly excited to work on this wedding since it was for people I knew! Jesi did an amazing job with the design for the wedding and I thought I would share some words from her blog that described the event…
“When Jessica, manager of The White Dress in CDM, hired me to design and plan her wedding, I squealed at the opportunity! Besides the fact that Jess & Eric are BEAUTIFUL people, they have such a clean, classy, modern style. My favorite part was that Jess gave me FULL reign so my crazy mind was whirling! The only thing they insisted on was having a cocktail party style of event with lots of EATING, DRINKING, and DANCING! We were working with a tight budget, so it was so fun pushing through the challenge and thinking outside the box… and outside the box is my favorite place to be! My AMAZING team created 500+ paper flowers to flood this event with style and sass.”

The GORGEOUS photos were taken the uber-talented Ashley Rose ! Ashley is a gem of a photographer and I am always so excited when I get to work with her on events!

Now take a look at some of Jesi’s hardwork…

And of course these are some of my favorite photos of the day… love this design idea!

I just loved the venue, The Ocean Institute, in Dana Point and thought the details Jesi incorporated, like the balloons & fun signs were perfect!

And of course it doesn’t hurt to have a gorgeous looking couple either! How cute are they?!?

And last, but hopefully not least
is the desserts bar! Jessica wanted a small cake for just them to cut and then wanted all of the guests to have lots of mini desserts! Jesi helped by making the fantastic backdrop and cupcake stand and then we used her candle sticks for a backdrop piece as well. My sister made the most fabulous sugar flowers to accent the cake and match the paper flowers that Jesi made, and I have to say they turned out perfectly!

For the mini desserts we did assorted cake lollipops, mini cheesecakes with raspberries, sugar cookies, mini cappuccino cheesecakes, and mini cupcakes.

And to show you just how fun and crazy Jesi is (and the rest of my wedding industry girls) I had to post a photo from In The Now’s studio launch party! This was such a fun night and I am so blessed to know all of these ladies!
