I am thrilled to bring you this week’s Inspired Ink hand-picked by Amanda from the Vintage Glam Weddings blog! Amanda sent over the loveliest inspiration board to enlighten my creation this week, and I am so glad she did.

This week it is all about giving a vintage edge to Hawaiian wedding themes. Now let’s not be afraid of the word theme here (I know, I know it is overused at times). The word Hawaii, for me, conjures images of soft sands, crystal waters, vibrant blooms and warm breezes - what better wedding inspiration - right?
The choice of kraft paper allowed the sweeping painted details in ivory acrylic to really pop! A simple tied program on apricot shimmer cardstock was a fun, unexpected contrast of materials. Overall I wanted to infuse warmth and vibrance with a touch of refinement. The envelope liner even sports a bit of painting in the upper right to unify the look (Imagine a liner cut from vintage Hawaii posters - hmmm…).
Thanks again Amanda!
