It’s a Jaime Thing is a blog I have been following for quite some time and over the last few months Jaime and I have become blogging friends, so to speak.  I reached out to her to put together some details to inspire an invitation design of mine and she came back to me with this dramatic and dark, True Blood board!

The intense red roses are what initially caught my eye.  When one thinks of red roses, classic and romantic beauty are the words that come to mind.  The same red roses paired with dark shades of black and gold take on and intense feel while still remaining quite elegant- wouldn’t you agree?   I have always wanted to use this WOW - pattern from Envelopments® and thought this would be the perfect opportunity!  Hand-painted flourishes in gold and black ink add to the edgy romantic mood.
