Thanks to amazing photographer John Lee of John Lee Pictures for sharing these hilarious outtakes from our 7×7 photoshoot. While the editors chose a rather staid photo for the magazine, they must have had to work hard to pick these out among the majority, which involved stuffing ourselves with cupcakes, blowing up balloons, and general silliness! It was so much fun!
I feel sorry for those poor little cupcakes!!

The one on the left is from Betsy Johnson (a few seasons past), and the one of the right is vintage - we found it at the Alameda Flea Market!
Wait… what’s on the floor? Are those tissue flowers or bags of cotton candy? It looks awesome!
Those are dyed pom poms - the photographer had the hilarious idea of flooding the floor w/them! We’ll be including complete instructions in our DIY wedding book from Chronicle Books (coming out in Sept of next year - sorry, it’s a long time to wait!) and they’ll be making an appearance in pics from Eunice’s wedding in Martha Stewart Weddings this spring! Stay tuned!!
