Weddingbee PRO

Several months ago I had lunch with my friend Jenny, who ordered a felt flower kit to make her own embroidered flower stems at home to keep in a vase on her desk. The other day, she sent me the results of what she had put together–I love these so much!

These are awesome. I love seeing what other people do with the kit.

Today I intend to wake up before 5pm for the first time this week and go to a few local antique shops. I hate hate hate my new studio in the new house, and the glum attitude I get when I work in there is affecting my productivity… so I want to try to find some inspiration and maybe get a few new things. I hate working in the basement. I hate the floors, the ceiling, the walls, the storm door that doesn’t close all the way. And I think it will smell like dog forever. Groce.

Ideally I’d really love to build a sunroom onto the front of the house, which would also block the view from the road and create some more privacy for the backyard. I visualize a bright, windowed room where I can see the kids playing in the backyard, and a door that opens onto a deck full of rocking chairs. Goals.
