I am delighted to finally share with you this invitation suite and matching menu, & program cover. You can view the save the dates here. I am so excited as we will also be shooting this wedding in Whistler, Canada and enjoying a week long vacation as well.
All the pieces are designed by me and letterpressed by my favorite peeps over at Spark Letterpress.

As I mentioned in my last post, here was the sneak peek. Erin and I went to Maine to help style, arrange flowers for the reception, do the tablescapes and well… photograph our great friend's wedding. We had a blast!!
I wanted to share with you some photos. You can see the whole story of the days and more pics from the wedding and day after shoot we did over on our blog here and here. Some of the flowers were wild flowers pick around the property, with a others delivered the morning of from a local farmer. I had NO idea of what flowers I was going to be working with, but it turned out great.
I rummaged the land for fun pieces of bark to lay on the table too. I used old Ball jar lids as the tea light base, and burlap for the runners with a cross pattern of different fabrics and and extra flags (used for the bunting banners) as little placemats. Each table had a different metal letter on it that spelled out LOBSTER; so cute. The wedding was so much fun to style, attend, and photograph.
I can't wait to share this wedding with you. Remember these invites? Well, I helped style the wedding and did the reception flowers and tablescapes. Here is a little behind the scenes of me working. After all the set up the day before and morning of, we {erinheartscourt} also photographed it. The photos will be up soon. Here is a sneak peek on our blog.

Here is a little fun project I put together for the lovely Janie over at The Brides Cafe - how to turn a boring terra cotta pot into a lovely rustic style affair. Cost for the whole project including plants and supplies is $70 but that is with extra rope, glue, paper and twine left over to do another set. The pots run from $1-$3 so your next table will be about $30 with plants!! The best part is you can do it the week leading up to your wedding as long as you keep them good and watered! Add a few fresh cut flowers into the morning of to give a little more volume I added billy balls and scabosia pods. Both can actually be done days before as they are so hardy. Here is the list of supplies and instructions!
Nothing dirty about it. Well I suppose the dirt itself is…. but leave that to them. Susan Moffett single handedly turns your tired backyard (or front) into a oasis of beauty, casual living , and stylish rustic tranquility. I had a grand time designing her logo and business cards to represent her whimsical landscaping business. Although we are currently growing her website, you should check it out anyways. This card is 3 color letterpress on chipboard printed by no other then my favorite company Spark.
You may remember Kelly and Chris's fun Palm Springs wedding. Here are some photos from their engagement shoot.
We shot for 4 hours (maybe even 5) all around the LACMA and Le Brea Tar Pits. The shoot came out fantastic - we couldn't be happier. We started with a little picnic then wondered around with a big yellow balloon (the main color of their wedding), then took a fun break at Molly Malones capture them hanging with some beers and goofing around on the stage. Then to the fabulous lamp post installation piece in front of the LACMA. It has been so photographed by tourists and others alike that the photos are now becoming part of the art! We also included a little Cuppielove…which I then devoured the props… mmm. ![]()
It was so fun! I hope we didn't tire them out. ![]()

Seriously what gets better than a beach cruiser, a soccer ball, some pin wheels, and the pier?? I think this shoot turned out great! We just cruised the pier and boardwalk and just shot away… no way to avoid the people so why not just include them, right?
It was really crowded. The red heart was carried through out the whole day to bring the story of the day together. Finished off the night with a cold one… mmmm.
We are just so excited to shoot the wedding in October. This couple is so fun I am sure the wedding will be a blast!
My husband and I, aka Erin Hearts Court, shot a lovely wedding at Calamigos ranch. It was very simple and lovely with a sweet bicycle theme, and ended with a lovely bonfire. Here are a few of our favorites! More over at our blog.
