On a recent trip to Copenhagen, these wooden birds (aptly named “Bird”) designed by architect and furniture designer Kristian Vedel quickly became an obsession even though we've seen them before. It is pretty remarkable for any one thing to consistently stand out among all the wonderfully inspiring Danish furniture, crafts, architecture… not to mention the remarkably attractive inhabitants of this lovely city. In adorable shop after adorable shop, their removable heads beckoned us until, at last, we succumbed to the temptation and picked up a few.

Thanks to Christina Loff at Chronicle Books for sharing the adorable photos from her friends Julie & Joe's wedding. Our favorite details were these embroidered table number flags — in Christina's words, they gave the wedding a “shipwreck feel” - appropriate, since it was on the beach!

One of the many wonderful things about being in the Bay Area is the proximity to Heath Ceramics. Their gorgeous line of pottery, tile and ceramics has been around since the mid-40's and everything is handmade in their Sausalito studio. We love their simple designs, stunning color and dependable quality. If you're not lucky enough to visit their Sausalito Factory store, or Los Angeles boutique, everything is available online. What an amazing place to register at for your upcoming wedding!

We are swooning over the adorable anniversary gift that H!L designer Shauna made for her husband for their 2nd anniversary. Traditionally, cotton is the suggested gift (ok, so this is wool, but it's still in the fiber family!) so she knit up a tiny heart using this pattern, then embroidered her and her husband's initials on the front and their 2nd anniversary date on the back. So cute!

We are loving Hollin and Eric's beautiful wedding, full of sweet details and DIY elements. Hollin, along with some helpful friends and family, created most of the decorations, and it all turned out so vintage chic!

Tree-filled and moss-covered, Treehouse Point offers two incredible treehouses for lodging by master treehouse builder Pete Nelson who, along with his wife Judy, host private events and overnight retreats. We're loving these details that Chun Yee, founder of our London office, sent us of her brother's wedding! Having grown up in China & Taiwan (and being half Chinese), we love the idea of giving the traditional gold-and-red Chinese wedding palette a modern twist. Stephanie and Thomas did it to perfection! They used a folded, dual-language Cherry Blossom wedding invitation in lucky red and chocolate, and incorporated a traditional double happiness seal.
