We were trolling Etsy and came upon these adorable Japanese country-inspired fabrics! So cute for crafting projects for a vintage wedding. Stefanie Style has a cute selection.
Earlier this year we were delighted to print the invitation suite for the owner of one of our favourite UK stockists, High Tea of Highgate (the fact that this is a delightful tea shop in a lovely part of London and that Georgina is a fabulous cook is entirely co-incidental!).

Thanks to Bethany for cluing us in to Dyna Moe, the amazing illustrator behind the Mad Men Yourself application we blogged about last week! She’s done a ton of illustration work for Mad Men, including this incredible Joan Holloway paper doll for Season 2!
This is a shout-out to interpid Hello!Lucky intern Hillary Burgess — she recently helped create all the DIY details for her friend Lisa’s bridal shower, including the adorable postcard invitation above (from the couple’s engagement photo shoot by photographer and friend Jess Epstein). This invite is one of the top 4 finalists in The Bride’s Cafe’s DIY contest — the winner will be announced on Friday! Read the how-to instructions here.
This weekend’s flea was a little overcast, but we still managed to spot some great stuff. Our favorite flea newcomer hands-down was Tinsel Trading — we’ve always coveted their shop in New York, so it was so great to have them come to us!!
We at Hello!Lucky are huge fans of Madmen (2nd season DVD came out 2 weeks ago!). Love the styling, the title credits, the outfits… everything about it! So we were psyched to discover the Madmen Yourself app that just launched on the AMC website. You can outfit yourself in a hip 50’s outfit, with the obligatory cigarette, martini glass, or fur stole. Hours of entertainment! Here’s the Hello!Lucky staff, mad-mened!
We paid a visit to General Bead yesterday — for those of you not in the know, it’s a San Francisco institution and one of the best bead resources out there!

Tracy from The Buttercream Studio just sent us this photo of a cute wedding cake she created based on our Chandelier wedding invitation by EIEIO. It reminded us that wedding invitations and stationery can be great source of inspiration for cakes - sometimes the design motifs on the invitation translate really well into 3-D and can help carry a consistent style through the details of wedding day.

Yesterday at Jessica’s 30th birthday party, we got a taste of these amazing macarons from Paulette Macarons‘ new San Francisco bakery (their other one is in Beverly Hills).
