Hello, hello, my long lost loves. So good to see you again. Here’s another lovely pair of ladies that got their Oh, My Deer treatment for the big day. I love the way the guinea feathers contrast with this stunning eggplant color! If you’re interested in having your shoes outfitted with a little bit of OMD lovin’, feel free to contact me and we can discuss color combos, fabric options, and all the other goodness that comes along with having a pair of shoes that make your gams look even more fierce than they already do.

…that I make a lovely that resembles a daffodil! We’re having crazy weather here in Nashville; Mondays of 20s and weekends of 70s. I’ve noticed a lot of flowering trees and flowers being confused, especially the daffodils. Though they normally bloom early in spring, I can’t help but be a little sad for them. They’re just mixed up in this crazy weather.

I can’t believe it was last summer that I started dabbling in my hair lovelies! Sometimes it feels like ages ago, but most of the time it feels like I’m just getting my feet wet.
One of my first customers was a lovely bride from Singapore! To top it off, our wedding photographer, Jose Villa, was shooting the wedding, so I knew I’d get some killer photos of the ladies in action.

A bride I’ve been working closely with to create ten (yes, TEN) lovely fabric flowers for her bridesmaids surprised me with my first off-the-head request: embellishing her already too-hot-to-handle wedding shoes. Using the same flowers and feathers her bridesmaids will be wearing, we fancied up her shoes to match, and may I just say… the results are smokin’.

That ever-so-talented husband of mine has updated his commercial site, yet again. Oh, what a restless spirit he has. The images are out of this world… though I may be a bit biased.

I’m really loving these fabric flowers lately, and one bride wanted one to adorn a tulle band. She’d seen the Wendy piece of Sarah Gabriel’s and asked for something similar… and viola! Though I can take no credit for the creative beauty of the piece, I still really, really like her.

Since many of you sweethearts aren’t able purchase a copy of your very own Southern Weddings at your local bookstore, here’s the spread that the Huz and I were featured in. The entire magazine is beautiful, and full of other stunning weddings. I mean, 52 real weddings… in ONE issue? It’s like a magazine full of the best the blog world has to offer.

While Tec and I are on our two-week sabbatical from all things work related, we’ve tried our darnedest to stay away from the computer, email, phone, bla-bla-bla. But after receiving this email from Emily, we had to investigate further:
