Since we launched the Princess Lasertron Felt Flower Bouquet Kits last May, we blew our goal of selling 50 kits in 2009 out of the water in the first two months. As readers and customers began sending me photos of their finished creations, I started the Princess Lasertron photo pool on Flickr for everyone to share photos of their creations and inspire each other.
Here's a look at some of the great projects that you have all shared in the Flickr pool….

• So do you freaking love this picture of my friends Jon (former roommate) and Sarah (style idol)? I think it's from their engagement session and the photographer is Bill Sitzmann. I'm eager for the rest of the photos to be available online!! Their wedding this October will be the party of the century…
• I feel like the last person on earth to “discover” the Jak and Jill blog, which offers pages and pages and pages of original photos from international fashion week events and I am SO addicted. I just keep it open in a Firefox tab to browse through when I get breaks.
• Mashable profiles 40 well-known brands on Twitter (think Ford, Comcast, Best Buy, American Apparel…) and introduces the employees behind the accounts.
• Calculating Your Rate - the latest in the series of uhmaaaaayzing posts from Design*Sponge created to help women in small business ownership. You won't regret flipping through all the posts in the series.
• Paulette Macarons: San Francisco-based party planner Jordan Ferney's go-to thank you gift
• Still not getting the Twitter appeal? Check out this short post and presentation from author and social media expert Tara Hunt entitled “Why Twitter Rawks: 40 tweets that say it all” Tara also organized the Whuffaoke tour that came through Omaha last month and I had the pleasure of joining her for breakfast!
• The Uniform Project: One woman wearing the same dress for 365 days in a row. I was so surprised at all of the styling options she is finding!
• Urban Outfitters hopes to save Polaroid film - yes! yes! please! please!
I have kept a style diary of magazine clippings since I started planning my wedding in early 2007. I'd love to share some of the pages with you and I think it makes sense to turn them into recurring posts. So every week I'll be sharing some of my favorite pages from my wedding and style inspiration book.

Today my amazing mail carrier picked up a big beautiful white box from me full of Lisa and Jeff's wedding flowers!

Yesterday I shared some photos of Leah's bridal bouquet that I created using big felt posies, grey and white mother of pearl buttons, and some special painted buttons in bright shades of teal and turquoise.
Teal, light pink, and certain shades of blue and green are highly sought-after colors by my clients, and the high demand comes with a high price. To avoid passing the cost on to my customers, sometimes I carefully paint plain buttons to match the customer's color palette, and when done right, no one can tell the difference. In this video I show you how to save money by painting your own plain, boring buttons to achieve the same effect!
Don't forget to go over to the beautifully inspiring blog Taza and Husband and enter to win one of my awesome cool back-to-school notebook covers! I think today is the last day to enter…
Also remember to vote for me to win Martha Stewart's DIY wedding crafts contest and help me achieve my dream of teaching a craft on the Martha Stewart Show! You guys have been crazy supportive so far and I think I might actually have a shot at this!

I loved working with Leah, one of my first local Omaha brides. Her super low-key wedding is August 16th and she's wearing a gray and teal dress. She contacted me several weeks ago to make her a short-notice bouquet on a small budget. I'm so happy that I accepted the challenge because the results are so stunning to me!

I don't normally post about new designer collections, but when I saw the new fall looks from Kate Spade, I gasped, almost fell out of my chair, forwarded the URL to everyone I knew, and called my bank to check how much money I have in savings to buy this ENTIRE collection. House? Baby? Workshop space? Ummmm, no, I'd trade all that for these clothes.

Beth and Joe are getting married in California on September 19th and she is one of my first brides to receive a Princess Lasertron Felt Flower Kit and make her bridal bouquet herself! I'm eager to see what she comes up with so I can share the pictures with all of you.
