I am in a rainy day mood today. Loving all things mossy green, enchanted forest, rainy, misty and beautiful.

Photos from the top : (top 3) this amazing wedding featured on Snippet & Ink with that awesome art installation! How great is that? Photos by Kelly Lorenz. I adore this whimsical photo featuring clocks and the coolest vintage wallpaper! via stylist Emily McGregor. The last fabulously gorgeous photos including this amazing purple bouquet and the groom holding an umbrella are from the brilliant Punam Bean.
Ok so seriously have I mentioned lately how amazing Jesi Haack Weddings is? Well this wedding sure does prove it. On top of that this wedding is like my dream come true - not only is at my new favorite wedding venue Marvimon but it also was a collaboration of some of my favorite wedding vendors!

How amazing are the florals!? Succulents + Kale + the brides grandmother's pearls on her bouquet? Jesi Haack Weddings was the genius behind the lovely details of this event AND the ridiculously gorgeous florals! I adore the pops of purple like the bride’s adorable purple pumps!

It’s getting to be that time of year again when I start brainstorming about what gifts I will make/give this holiday season. Each year I like to give the ones I love something handmade. I find these are always the best kinds of gifts and the ones people appreciate the most. They are also a lot of fun! This is where I begin - I have put together an inspiration board for myself to start the creative juices flowing. I looked mostly at DIY wedding favors as these can easily double as holiday gifts. I like the fact that many DIY brides are thinking of something personal and meaningful to give as wedding favors - exactly what I want to achieve for my holiday gifts!

Food is high on my list of ideas since both my husband and I love to cook, it definitely brings in that personal touch. My inspiration above came from: 100 layer cake. We love jam; check out their recipe and DIY instructions! Love this especially if you grow your own fruit!; the next images also from the fabulous 100 layer cake are more for visual inspiration although I am loving the coffee and tea bags and those handmade caramel apples! brilliant!
This invitation suite we just did with our fabulous retailer, The Dandelion Patch, came out so pretty I had to share. The bride chose the Vintage Romance collection from the Letterpress Album and customized the design with her color palette of Champagne and Blush.

With all the custom holiday cards we are designing lately, I am completely inspired by cozy winter whites, and rustic charm with a bit of modern whimsy. This inspiration board I think showcases perfectly exactly what is inspiring me right now. (Never mind it's 80 degrees in Southern California right now!) Think white cashmere blankets, handmade marshmallows, and a creamy white hot chocolate…sigh!

From the top that amazing paper deer head and that adorable display of hanging bottles spotted on Style Me Pretty. This is a space created by the amazingly talented Hatch Creative Studio, for their clients to host their events in. Brilliant! The dreamy photos of the space were shot by the infamous Karen Mordechai (aka Sunday Suppers). Next up is that beautiful white hot chocolate! Yum! Found via Meme Recipe Blog. Check it out for the recipe! This ultra chunky button Cowl is amazing! It doesn't get much cozier than that right? Found via the Lulu & Loie's etsy shop. I am constantly coveting these gorgeous Moroccan Poufs and this luxurious white one is amazing! Via Serena and Lily. These last two photos are more of the Hatch Creative Studio. Love the snow shoes on the wall! Brilliant!
I first spotted this amazing branding over at Unruly Things (a fabulous blog read FYI). The company behind this design genius for Moomah is Apartment One. The whimsical style of this branding is so brilliant! It's completely reflective of a child's imagination which is a perfect match for Moomah, a café/art studio for kids + adults. I love the concept of this place - a sustainable café offering fun organic food, an environment that promotes creativity, and a place for kids + adults to explore their imagination. Sign me up!

I thought it would be fun to share with you our process for branding and logo design. This particular case study is branding we created for Leslie at Elle F Bijoux. She designs unique necklaces from old pocket watches!

We start by creating an inspiration board based on images that the client has collected, or the concepts and ideas discussed. In this case the client, Elle F Bijoux, was drawn to art nouveau, vintage imagery and especially that of a woman to be included in the logo itself. This was a really fun project; I was super inspired by Leslie and her vision for the company.
So when the photog geniuses of Our Labor of Love sent over these pics from a recent wedding they shot, I was literally jumping up and down. This pink + grey, sweet with a little sassy, wedding is so up my alley! I adore all the lovely details and the overall vibe of this amazing event.

The bride was so gorgeous in her amazing PINK dress, black veil and grey fabric flower in her hair. And those grey nails! Perfect complement to the groom and his groomsmen in grey suits. The color palette works so well, being chic and not too sweet. Speaking of sweet, no detail was spared when it came to their dessert bars. Wow! Gorgeous job.
I have been so excited to share this wedding with you. Thank you Karen of Karen Revelle Photography for sharing your gorgeous photos of the event! Courtney, the bride, is the talent behind hair and makeup company Flourish. The couple first of all is from Forks, Washington (for all you Twilight fans) and their love story begins on the school bus in second grade! (see below for the full story). The wedding took place in Port Angeles, and everything was DIY. This is a perfect example of how to make a gorgeous, romantic wedding on a shoestring budget. The bride dug up vintage mason jars, and milk jugs to use for the flower arrangements from the family attic. Using mostly local flowers, Courtney did all the flowers and bouquets herself! Wow! A real Hometown meets Uptown vibe!

There is something timeless and classic about a white color palette with just the subtlest hints of color. The perfect color palette for a winter white wedding. I turned to some of my favorite photographers to put together this wedding white inspiration board.

From the top {1,2,3 are the beautiful images of Lisa Lefkowitz; 4,5,6 even the food can be a part of the white color palette as seen in these amazing images by Bonnie Tsang; 7 I absolutely adore this photo of the bride with that amazing hand mirror, shot by the infamous Elizabeth Messina; 8,9 this beautiful table setting and mix and match flower arrangement shot by Jose Villa; 10 floating bride and groom shot by Max Wanger; 11 and this fabulous arrangement of lace inspired evian bottles shot my one my favorites Punam Bean}
