Ok so from the moment I heard the name I was smitten, Sweet and Saucy! So cute! But seriously take a look at Melody’s adorable pastry shop, located in Long Beach, and you will see what I mean. Melody has a love for mini desserts, which I have to say are not only fabulous but truly unique.

As you may have noticed by now, I can’t get enough of girly, pink, lovely color palettes. The combination of pink and black reminds me of a slightly naughty ballerina look, which I adore for a wedding or party. I have a vision of these fabulous love poem books given as favors, as guests sip on Sofia pink champagne and can I please wear that fabulous fairy skirt!!? Sigh…

You may remember the utterly fabulous bridal jewelry I featured a while back by Studio Suzan. There was an overwhelming response and many of you asked how you could purchase her pieces. Well good news! The online shop is now open. The website includes not just her bridal line, but a large selection of Suzan’s fabulous jewelry. Don’t forget to read Suzan’s incredible story.

I am loving these pieces with words etched in them like the bracelet above that has the word “grace” etched in it over and over. I love the idea of having the word “love” done that same way for a bride to wear! Suzan’s jewelry is all handmade and truly unique. I love that each piece is so beautiful and heirloom quality. Happy shopping!
Well once again Braedon of Braedon Photography has sent over the most fabulous wedding for us all to enjoy. Not only are the photos gorgeous but this wedding has such fabulous details I could not wait to share! The wedding took place at the grooms family vineyard in Napa. I love the backyard-chic vibe of this wedding. One of my favorite looks.

I thought I would share some of the pretty pictures I took of the fabulous Soi Même eco-chic bridal event this past weekend. There were some fabulous vendors at the event including: our fabulous host Sarah Shewey from Pink Cloud Events; the insanely talented Paige of Bash Eco Events; Lindee of Puridee, gorgeous sustainable wedding gowns; Cakes by the Pound, to die for desserts and stunning cakes; the adorable Dana LaRue of the broke ass bride; Good Gracious events; Nailah of Safiya Beauty; Seed Floral & Event Design; BBJ Linens; and the fabulous Tracy Hepler from Your Daily Thread.

We recently designed a program for one of our fabulous retailers, Watermark Stationery, in Minnesota. They are always so much fun to work with and this project was no exception. Using the Flagel design from our Luxe album as the inspiration we created this folded 2 sided program. The program was flat printed on 100% cotton paper (tree free). Loving the results!

Here are some of my favorite DIY ideas I have spotted around recently. Take a look, borrow, change them a bit to be your own, and voila! Handmade touches for your wedding day…

These adorable picnic areas would make the cutest lounge area, forget the sleek white modern furniture, go for a more relaxed vibe with color coordinated pillows and blankets in the grass! Photo via Once Wed. Loving the vintage books piled up with the mason jar on top. What adorable center pieces these would make. Even during a cocktail reception these would be perfect! Photo via Once Wed. I am absolutely loving the look of these apple crates on the wall. Like shadow boxes. Photo via Style Me Pretty. I am a huge fan of the cheese platter, and this one is absolutely perfect. Spread out on a long wooden table with chalkboard name plates. Perfection! Photo via Style Me Pretty. The polaroids strung on a clothesline act as a guest book that everyone can enjoy at the reception. Photo via Style Me Pretty. Chalkboard used as a menu or bar menu…lovely. Photo via Style Me Pretty. Loving the vintage hankies that are used as napkins, seating cards and favors!! Love that! Photo via the Nichols. Lastly the sugar rimmed mason jars for your signature cocktail have the perfect blend of casual and chic for my taste! Photo via the Nichols.
This little collection kind of sums up my summer obsessions… and while summer may be ending, my love for these lovelies lives on…
